The Asian Association for Biology Education (AABE), in collaboration with the Korean Society of Biology Education (KSBE), is proud to announce the 30th Biennial Conference, hosted at the prestigious Pusan National University in South Korea.

This international forum serves as a vital platform for biology educators, researchers, and curriculum developers to exchange innovative research and transformative classroom practices.

2026 Theme: Biology Education for Ecological Transformation

Our world faces accelerating environmental challenges, from climate change to biodiversity loss. This year’s theme, “Eco-Living in Harmony with Nature,” reimagines biology education as a catalyst for cultural change. We invite you to join the conversation on how inquiry-based learning and community-engaged projects can empower the next generation to become active stewards of our planet.

Call for Proposals

The Executive Committee invites proposals for Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, and Workshops.

  • Oral: 15-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A.

  • Poster: A0 portrait format.

  • Guidelines: Abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word and PDF using the official template (max 250 words).

Travel Tip: For international travelers arriving at Gimhae International Airport (PUS), we recommend the Airport Limousine Bus to Dongnae or a 40–50 minute taxi ride to reach the campus area.
